Coast
of Mexico is famous for its beautiful places for deep sea fishing.
The uniqueness of fishing here is a fact, that country is washed by
the Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. It provides
a variety of fish and fishing grounds. You can catch a black marlin,
sailboat, swordfish and yellowtail (almost all year round) in Ixtapa,
on the Pacific coast. And the best Cancun hotels offer great deep sea
fishing Cancun in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Most Mexicans and, of course, tourists spend their leisure time on the
coast or at sea. And fishing is one of the most popular. Coastal residents
trade sea fishing from time immemorial. You can catch fish in different
ways: from the shore, the boat and under water. The best places for fishing
from shore are rocks, stones, and the best time is overnight. Fishing from
a boat is a chance to catch a commemorative trophy. Most boats designed
specifically for catching big saltwater fish, equipped with various adaptations,
which facilitate the search of fish. You can take a day or half day fishing
trip on a specially equipped boat or take a multiple day trip by yacht,
fishing in more remote places. Cancun is in list of the best places in
the world for deep sea fishing. So I, an avid fisherman chose this place
for my winter vacation. I will not tell about how I get to Mexico. I want
to share my impressions of my fishing immediately. I decided to choose
a fishing boat. Fortunately, the Cancun hotel (as well as any other hotel
near the sea) provides “sea fishing”. Specially equipped boats
go to the sea on 4, 6 or 8 hours, depending on your desire. Maximum number
of people for a standard-equipped yacht is 8 people, not counting the team.
We had 5 people. It is the optimum number of people, because we could share
experiences with each other and not interfere with each other at the same
time. I recommend taking a pill from motion sickness a half hour before
your trip to sea. Otherwise, you risk getting sick instead of enjoying
fishing.
You can catch barracuda, redfish, snapper, Dorado, sea kingfish, mackerel,
sailboat, marlin, tuna and much more! I was lucky: I’ve caught several
fatty mackerels and other fish. It was delicious! I never got such much
fun!
